On 9th March, 2016, the quality control manager and senior specialist of the Food Quality and Safety Analysis Department of testing laboratory "FDA Laboratory" LLC took part in the training on implementation of the inter-laboratory comparisons and result discussion, held in Tbilisi and organized by the German organization PTB (Physikalisch -Technische Bundesanstalt).
The following topics were discussed during the training:
- The differences between interlaboratory comparisons (ILCs) and proficiency testings (PTs)
- The aims of implementation of the ILCs and PTs
- Analysis of PT results and warning signals
- Definition and implementation of corrective measures
- Outline of data and statistical analysis of PTs
- Root cause analysis of the warning signals.
