“Ecoglobe” LLC, within the framework of International Technical Cooperation program of German PTB, organized a laboratory network meeting, which was held at "FDA Laboratory" LLC on November 8, 2013.

 

Conference was conducted by invited international expert and representative of PTB - Christy Froese.

 

Representatives from several Armenian laboratories attended the meeting: laboratory of the National Institute of Standards, "Narek" research center laboratory, "Mavas Group", "Standard Dialog", "Darmantest Laboratories" etc.

 

The main purpose of the meeting was discussion of current issues that exist in almost all laboratories, finding solutions and trying to implement those solutions in a short period. In particular, the issues regarding the acquisition of qualitative and affordable laboratory standard solutions, gases, microbiological media and other items, were addressed during the discussion.

 

Details on introduction and application of ISO 17025:2005 standard were discussed as well.
