Finally, in Armenia and the region, it is now possible to conduct laboratory analysis of substitutes for tobacco products․

The tobacco analysis department of the FDA Laboratory will perform analysis on tobacco substitutes, including electronically controlled products that do not contain tobacco raw materials, nicotine-containing products, liquid cartridges, and heated tobacco products.

During the analysis, the following indicators of vapor formation in electronic cigarettes will be checked:

• CO (carbon monoxide),
• glycerin,
• nicotine,
• propylene glycol,
• water.

 

The FDA Laboratory is the sole facility for e-cigarette analysis in Armenia and the entire region.
