On February 16, "FDA LABORATORY" LLC held a presentation-conference dedicated to the laboratory inspection of tobacco
products and their substitutes, during which the laboratory invited producers, importers of tobacco substitutes, as well as repre-
sentatives of the state regulatory sector to a platform. 

Despite the implementation of the relevant regulation of the Government of the Republic of Armenia, the safety indicators of the
mentioned products were not checked because the necessary laboratory resources did not exist. Recently, "FDA LABORATORY"
LLC acquired appropriate equipment and trained staff, after which the Ministry of Economy appointed FDA LAB as a conformity
assessment body in this field.

The laboratory is unique with its new test, it is the only independent and accredited laboratory in Armenia and in the entire region in this field.
